First there was a desire. Which led to an idea. An idea about a tasting of all the good things that our Vipava Valley has to offer. About a space where lovers of authentic local flavors could meet over a good glass of wine, beer, and local snacks... The idea, which was realized on April 3, 2018, after weeks and months of planning, when DAROVI VIPAVSKE first opened its doors.
I am Mirjana and I live in paradise garden of Slovenia, in Vipava Valley. A valley with wonderful nature, generous soil, and hospitable people. People who create the most diverse products out of love of this land and tradition of their grandmothers and grandfathers on their farms, cellars, halls, kitchens from the raw materials that Vipava land offer them.
This was an inspiration for DAROVI VIPAVSKE, a wine shop, wine bar, bistro, tasting room, and shop for local products from Vipava Valley, top products for gourmet pleasures. That write the story of the Vipava Valley as a boutique wine and gastronomic destination. Today, DAROVI VIPAVSKE are a must-stop for all wine, craft beer, and excellent local delicacies lovers all who visit Vipava Valley.
We are located in Vipavski Križ, a medieval town, the second smallest in the world. It is a special pleasure to sit on our terrace with a glass of premium wine or craft beer and a plate of Vipava delicacies and surrender to the charming atmosphere of Placa, which offers a magical view, where you can feel magical energies of our small town. A visit to us means sincere hospitality and a genuine experience of flavors, aromas, and scents, an experience you will take home with you and remember for a long time.

Treasure hunt
The treasure hunt in Vipavski Križ is perfect for all those who are active and want to get to know the cultural heritage of the medieval town, one of the smallest in the world. The starting point is in the wine shop, where a group of 2 to 4 hunters receives backpacks with a pen and a mobile phone. The application guides the hunters from riddle to riddle, which are placed throughout the town. A successful solution to all the riddles will lead you to the hidden treasure of the knights of Svetokriški. Upon finding the treasure, the group will toast with a noble Vipava drop.
